OBNOX

Lamont "Bim" Thomas (aka OBNOX) has made a record that we simply can't take off the turntable.  Based out of Cleveland, OH, Thomas' newest release Boogalou Reed is his second long player in less than a year (his eleventh release since 2011) and you can bet he will have another two before the end of 2015.  Pitchfork describes Thomas as an artist who’s “speeding along, cranking out high-octane, hip-hop-influenced garage rock like it’s a spiritual calling.” This guy is unstoppable; and is keeping Ohio on the map for the weirdos of rock-n-roll.
