Michael Rault is a Toronto based singer, guitarist and songwriter, with his latest (second) album ‘Living Daylight’ set to see worldwide release on Burger Records on May 5th, 2015. Burger notes he is “a gifted multi-instrumentalist and arranger, his hooky blend of pop rock refracts an evolution of guitar based music through the ages.” Rault blends the sound of R’n’B with acid psych via a childhood spent on being influenced by the Beatles and Dr. John. Just this past week NPR premiered his latest entertaining music video ‘Nothing Means Nothing’, likening Rault to the Beatles as well. The album produced and recorded with Renny Wilson (Mint Records), is a mix of the past and future, compared to early Rock N’ Roll meeting Tame Impala.
